summer

summer

We have had a really fun summer so far. I want to add so far because it is not over and I am not ready for summer to be coming to an end. We love swimming and being outside so much! Kaylee just learned how to ride her tricycle by herself and loves to practice multiple times a day. I will post pictures of that later. We also had a long weekend in Chicago and had so much fun. It is so nice to get away sometimes!

Florida trip

We decided to take a break from the cold of Indiana and head to Clearwater Beach, FL to get away for a week. It was a much needed vacation and we all loved finally being able to play outside and be together as a family. Nothing like the beach and sun!

Kaylee's two!!!

Kaylee turned 2 on Friday the 13th and we had a party for her on Saturday. Lots of her favorite people were there. It was a really fun day. Matt and I spent some of last week remembering the day Kaylee was born and the weeks leading up to it and the four weeks she spent in the hospital after it. We are just amazed at how she came into the world so small and now how quickly she has gotten so big and now has turned two. We thank God everyday for how blessed we are to have her in our life and how she has brought us more happiness than we could have ever imagined possible.

Happy Halloween

Kaylee had her first experience trick-or-treating. We borrowed a duck costume from our neighbors little girl and joined our friends from our old neighborhood for the evening. Kaylee caught on right away on how to go to the door and put a piece of candy in her bag. She had a lot of fun walking around with all the kids. We had a wonderful Halloween! Now we just need to hide all of her candy!
