We all had a wonderful Christmas and really enjoyed time with family and friends. Of course Kaylee was the big hit with everyone!! We sure know she was by all the toys we had to find room for in our house. Kaylee is definitely a very loved and spoiled little girl!! Thanks to all of our families for hosting us and for all our gifts!! We hope you all had a Merry Christmas!!

Kaylee's 1st Birthday Party!!

Kaylee had an amazing first birthday party. A lot of really great family members and friends were there to celebrate with her. She loved all of her new things except for trying birthday cake for the first time. She is not a messy girl with food yet. We still can't believe that we have a little girl that is one year old. Just a couple of years ago we thought we would never get to celebrate a 1st birthday with our baby. God is so good!!

Trick-or-treat

Happy Halloween!!! Kaylee enjoyed her first Halloween. We had lots of trick-or-treaters that Kaylee loved watching and then we went out with our friends/neighbors Chad and Courtney and their kids.

Pumpkin picking

This past weekend we went with some friends to pick pumpkins. Kaylee mostly enjoyed watching the other kids but we did settle on a nice little pumpkin for her. We really enjoyed the beautiful fall day and the time with our friends!!

We are excited that football season is back again. If only our Colts were winning every game. Kaylee is ready to help cheer them on anyway!!

Kaylee got a new tub in the mail today so we decided to play in the box it came in and in the actually tub. Kaylee wanted to test it out before she takes a bath!!

Updates

Our summer went extremely fast. I can't believe it is September and that Kaylee is almost 10 months old. We really think she is almost ready to crawl because she will not stay still. She really wants to be moving. She has also cut out one feeding during the day and one nap. We had a great summer. We have attended fun cook-outs with family and friends, went boating and camping in Ohio with friends and enjoyed spending time with family and trying to get Kaylee to like swimming. We look forward to seeing what the fall brings and what new things Kaylee shows us. It is absolutely amazing what she learns new everyday and what changes that brings to our life!!

Kaylee got to try out a new toy at her grandma and grandpa's 4th of July party. (Do you think she'll be a race car driver?) She liked it for a little while but then wanted to be held. What a spoiled baby!!

Kaylee has discovered how to grab a hold of her feet and wants to do it all the time now. She even grabbed them in the bath tub. It is pretty cute and she is definitely proud of herself.

Sitting up!!

This past weekend Kaylee showed us she could sit up all by herself for a short period of time. The amount of time is getting longer everyday. We can't believe how big she is getting. We are so excited for this new stage!!

Father's Day weekend

We went up north to celebrate Father's Day this past weekend in Liberty Center. Kaylee got to see lots of family members and we got to celebrate with our dads!! It was an extra special day celebrating Matts first Father's Day. We first stopped in to see Darrell and Terry and then headed to grandma Hallie's for a wonderful chicken and noodle dinner with Uncle Tom, Jesse and Christina and mom and dad. On Sunday Brian and Michelle joined us and the guys headed out early for a round of golf while the ladies relaxed outside on a beautiful day. Of course Kaylee was the center of attention. We then had a great cook-out where we celebrated our dads and included moms birthday celebration in there. After lunch we played crocket and took the scooter out for rides and went swimming. Junior took us all out for dinner at Richards later and then Matt and Kaylee and I rushed home to beat the storms coming. We just about made it but it let loose on us right at our exit. What a wonderful weekend!!! It was great to spend time with our families!!

We have been having a lot of fun outside with this nice weather. Matt had his softball game yesterday and we got to visit with lots of great friends!!
